The manual that comes with your pool will speak specifically about your system, so it trumps any general advice found elsewhere. Pool owners with alternative systems and newer pool technologies should consult their manufacturer’s instructions first to avoid voiding warranties.

Between wiki sites built on the average knowledge of users, swimming pool manufacturer’s sites, and sites devoted to swimming pool information, the internet has the answer to virtually any pool question. A word of caution, however - get your information from well noted sources and sites recommended or supported by swimming pool industry leading manufacturers. They will have the most reliable information.
